Sleeping Giant Ski Area Finally Reopens!
In 2004 – one of the best ski resorts in the world closed its doors down and now – after five years of being closed, the brand new Sleeping Giant Ski Area has reopened and last weekend has welcomed all of the skiers to come back to the slops. The Sleeping Giant Ski Area has been a destination forever now and I can tell you for sure that this particular ski resort is the best.
The reason that this particular ski resort closed was due to their T-bar being unsafe and now – with $3.4 million dollar sunk into improvements and revamping of the ski area, this fantastic resort now offers up a triple chair lift, longer runs, a day lodge and finally ski and snowboarding lessons.
Also – the Sleeping Giant Ski Area has snow-making capabilities, which is something not a lot of ski resorts have.
